This article entitled “Effects of the Media” was rated the most read article of 2009. Having dabbled in an interest in psychology (like most first year college students) I was fascinated by the hows and whats of the advertising world. What made us buy? Who can we sell to? How can you make someone feel something?
When I saw this article it explained so much and truly gave me the answers of how all of us see and interpret things differently. Even some thing as simple and mundane as the nightly news can be so drastically understood from one age range to the next. I thought to myself, “How can I make this article better?” Using my illustration Waycom tablet skills I mocked up this newly designed layout of the article to create even a bigger buzz then the year before it. Needless to say…it worked.
